Day 075: Makeshift Pie Day!
Logan’s birthday is on 3/14 – Pie Day! And since I had a session that day, I told him we would do his choice of birthday dinner and dessert the next today – today, 3/15! He aptly chose Chicken Pot Pie for dinner, and Apple Pie for dessert!
This image here, though? I don’t have too many captures of Maddox and Daddy together. I just thought it was ADORABLE! Plus, the light coming in from our front window was hitting Daron just right. Ugh, and Maddox’s little binky?! I know he’s getting too old for it. He’s my last baby, and I’m just not really ready to let it go.
We didn’t do a great job of planning for pretty much anything this year. I normally plan birthday parties for the boys, and at least buy the correct candles! But – ugh – not this year. So, for nine, we improvised a bit and did 8 + 1. I was happy I could make him smile, and complete his wish for both a Lego set, and pie!
My oldest bear is NINE, and on his way to double-digits. Time flies, you guys. It really does.
