Day 067: At odds... again.
Brothers… am I right? Logan and Orion are almost always at odds. Whether it’s who’s taller, faster, better at cherry picking (a kickball game they were playing) – they are *always* arguing. And Orion is often crying. He wasn’t happy that I snapped this photo, but these are the types of real moments I’m trying to capture. His dirt-covered face, and tears in his eyes just pulls at my heart strings.
This is also another attempt at blind focus. It’s not perfect, but that’s part of what I love about it.

Part of my goal for this project is to document real moments. Sometimes that means documenting the tears, the mess, the un-perfectness that is our lives. We have to stop comparing to those seemingly perfect, pinterest-worthy images. Life – especially with three boys – can be messy, it can be tough, it can be tearful. But it can be a lot of other things too. I want to document all of it. Hopefully one day, the boys will be able to look back at these images and have a good chuckle.
