Day 059: Happy Birthday & Retirement!
Today was a double-y special day for my Dad. His 62nd birthday, and the start of his retirement! After years of sacrificing for his family; working every chance he got, while leaving time for coaching my softball teams, volunteering, and vacations to our camp. My dad gets to retire! I hope his days are everything he deserves after so many years of service to our family <3
This here? A councilwoman from our city, reading a proclamation – for my dad – that declared February 28th, 2020, as “Gabe Kish Day” in Pittsburgh, PA. No one is more deserving.
