Day 073: "Let's play catch!"
Let’s play catch… or not! Maddox is a pretty agile guy, but he still hasn’t quite figured out how to catch consistently! As per the following example, haha! I laughed so hard when I saw this on the back of the camera!
I took several shots. Maddox didn’t seem to mind. He was outside, playing, with a ball – he was just happy to be outside!
And the next series? Our neighbors were getting a tree cut down. I thought it was a cool photo – especially with the beautiful blue sky in the background.
And that one with Orion looking all pensive? *sigh* This boy. He melts my heart on the daily. It was just warm enough for him to want to go outside and draw with chalk. We live on a fairly busy street, so I try to keep him in the back or on the front porch. That doesn’t always go over well with him. But if he can blow bubbles, or draw with chalk, he’s a happy guy. I love that those simple things bring him joy. And I love that he stormed inside the back door to show me his drawing — 20 cars on a road, with a rainbow.
The chalk drawings from the summer are still on our front porch! And I have a feeling we’ll be seeing lots more this year, too.
