Day 058: Perfect day for some Hot Chocolate
It was such a chilly day today – the wind has been blowing ferociously! So when Orion asked if I could make them Hot chocolate, I obliged. This also meant that I was probably going to snap some photos of them. MUHAHAHA! I gotta get those daily photos in somehow!h
If you can’t tell, I’m pretty into dramatic lighting. I love it when a subject POPS off the background. I think it adds such drama to a somewhat simple image. I also love that I can see Logan’s chubby little hands, and his dry cuticles! He’s always been one of the kids who are taller for their age. I remember putting a 2T outfit on him at 11 months! We have always lovingly referred to his hands as “mits” – just big ol’ bear paws! LOL! SO CUTE!
It’s amazing what you can do with just 10 minutes of shooting – if that! This was probably 5-7 minutes worth of me asking him to sit towards the light a certain way. Then just letting him sip on his hot chocolate! I really love this series of images. Logan’s got a gentle soul. I know he really enjoys 1-on-1 time – even if that means he has to sit through me taking his photo <3
