Day 051: Hold the Bread
Maddox has been on a bit of a bread kick lately. He eats plain bread, non-toasted, all day. So, for lunch he requested an “egg sandwich”, which is really just a cheese and mayo sandwich (because when I actually give him the egg, he throws it onto the floor). Made it for him, came back, and he opened all the sandwich pieces, removed the cheese, and left the bread.
Maddox is a strong-willed child for sure. That yogurt stick? He insisted on cutting it open himself. Don’t worry, I made sure he wasn’t going to hurt himself. And after about 10 minutes of him struggling with it, I basically had to wrestle it from his death grip so I could open it for him. Normally he gives up and hands it over. Yesterday though? Nope.
Hug those moms of strong willed boys. We are not OK.
