Day 042: Valentine's Day Goodies!

Again, apologies for the out-of-whack photos. Full disclosure: I had a TOUGH start to Project 366 this year! But I’m not too rigid with this project. The goal for me is to document our everyday lives. As long as I come away with some photos of the kids while they’re kids, then I’m happy. Even if I miss a few days here, but then take 200 photos there. My goal has always been to document. And to improve on skill, but that’s really secondary, and almost just comes naturally with shooting every day.

The goodie bag opening started in the car. And then continued as soon as he walked in the back door.

Schools no longer allow “treats” in goodie bags. So there’s a lot of pencils, stickers, temporary tattoos, rulers, bubbles – even modeling clay! I thought Orion would be upset that he didn’t get any candy. But as it turns out, he didn’t. Hahaha!

Trying to remember that even though the days are long, the years are short. And it’s true what they say – they really do grow up fast. Happy Valentine’s Day!
