Day 031: My Sweet Valentine
This sweet boy. He made this Valentine for a buddy in his class, then he placed it into a sticker-adorned envelope for his class party the next day. He melts my heart with his thoughtfulness! As a note: this truly was the day before Valentine’s day. But, as I’m way behind on my days, I’m filling in the week prior!
The next morning, he decided he wanted the glittery sticker from the envelope to wear on his shirt. While I placed the sticker on him, he looked at the valentine for his friend, sighed and said, “he’s gonna love this!”.
You guys, my heart melted out of my chest. This boy has such a sweet soul, and an innocent heart. I hope I never forget how happy his sweetness makes me. I hope the world doesn’t harden him too much – we need this sort of kindness in the world.
PS: how cute are those little hearts? PPS: He’s shirtless… again. I’m not sure I have a picture of him yet this year with a shirt on!
